TALOS advises everything and decides nothing. Recommendations never convert themselves into actions. The governance layer exists so that the more capable the system becomes, the more clearly the judgment stays yours.
The machine holds the noise
Working memory, thread-tracking, signal-reading — the parts of work that exhaust humans and cost nothing to machines. Holding them isn’t replacement. It’s the accommodation everyone deserves.
It aligns to you
The most important model in the system is its model of you — how you communicate, where you land wrong, what you need in the moment. Guidance that doesn’t fit the person isn’t assistance. It’s a script.
Restraint is respect
The system surfaces nothing by default. Attention is the scarcest resource it touches, and every interruption spends it. A quieter system is not a weaker one — it’s one that trusts its user.
Behavioral data never crosses the red line
Human identity, behavioral models, and relationship intelligence belong to their owner — not the platform. In every TALOS architecture diagram there is a literal red line around customer-controlled hardware, and everything that understands a person lives inside it.
It’s not a privacy setting; it’s the design constraint every feature is built under. If a capability would require behavioral data to cross the line, the capability changes — the line doesn’t.
